I don't ever want to be a single mom!

Erik was gone for SIX days this week on his annual guys' golf trip (when did this become a week-long event?) and so I was solo with the boys for the week. It was actually a little better than I expected, just Jackson is the rascal of the bunch. He has been transitioning to a "Big Boy Bed" which means flopping out of his crib onto his head and opening his door with child-proof handle in about ten seconds flat. Needless to say, I'm ready for Erik to be back if only so I can get a little more sleep!
Jackson looks so sweet, but don't be deceived! He is a RASCAL!

Colton is growing so fast and is cuter and cuter these days. He loves to hold anyone's hand and that can usually keep him happy for awhile.

Trey has been a great helper this week, as usual. He is a good-natured little guy.

I scheduled visits from friends and my brother, Steven, throughout the week so that I had adult conversation and a distraction for the kids. Here Steven is rocking Colton to sleep after he'd been screaming in my arms for awhile! Dosdalls, are you amazed?

Trey turns four

A big smile from Colton!!!

We took the kids to the Waco Zoo on Trey's birthday. It was really nice and they had tons of fun!

Trey got to wear a crown at school for his birthday!

We had a "Mater" pinata over at Guido's house on Saturday where we celebrated Trey, Danny, and Sal's birthdays.

We just bought bunk beds this week in the hopes that Jackson and Trey will be ready to share a room soon and we can get Colton out of ours! Our awesome friends bought Trey all the "Cars" gear for the beds. It looks great and the kids love it!
