It's been awhile!

I know I haven't blogged in a long time, but it has been a crazy summer. My brother, David, passed away at the end of August after his fourth heart attack in 3 1/2 years. Fortunately all of my siblings made it to Michigan for the funeral, but my parents are still in India serving a mission for the Mormon church and could not make it. We miss him so much already and were glad that we had just seen David two weeks before he passed on.

Colton sure is growing fast. He can crawl everywhere now, has his first tooth and sits up. He has waved to people a few times and the jury is still out, but we think he may be saying "Dada" and knowing what it means.

I believe that Colton looks like a redhead (he still doesn't have much hair) which means we have a blond, brunette, and a redhead! Those genes are weird things, huh? We may adopt an Asian baby just to have all the possibilities! Just kidding.

Jackson was playing dress-up with his cousins in Michigan and looked so cute as a pirate! He didn't want to take the eye patch off.

Trey is playing soccer this year and seems to enjoy himself even though his team is not real sure of their purpose on the field.

Trey and Jackson definitely have the love/hate relationship like lots of brothers. They are each others favorite playmate and favorite punching bag as well. They are both attending pre-school 2 days per week at a Catholic church and seem to love it.
